My name is Nettie. I am a homeschooling mama, farmer, dancer, choreographer, burlesque artist, circus performer and instructor.
In 2005 my sister Hannah and I formed the Nevaeh Dance Company, recognized today as Nevaeh Dance Circus were I serve as the artistic director and co-choreographer.
In 2019 my sister and I jumped in on a new project "Cold, Cold, Night Burlesque" were we curate full on 1920's style productions sharing the stage with live music from "Ragtime Rebellion" and multi media vaudeville style performances.
Aside for my dance projects, I am also a certified Hoop Love coach and modern day hula hoop performing artist.
I began my deep love for this plastic circle back in 2010 when a girl from the Boston Hoop Troupe taught me a hoop trick at a music festival. And just like that I was hooked! Since this time, I have participated in classes and workshops from world renowned hula hoop instructors/performers such as Brecken Rivara, Dustin Huble, Miss MoJangles, Lee Jeffries, Deanne Love and one on one coaching from Lisa Lottie.
On January 1st 2021 I began a new project I call #hulahoopingeverydamnday were I literally hula hoop EVERY DAMN DAY. My plan is to do this all year long. You can actually join me on this journey via my instagram or show your support for me and this project on Patreon.
